Anti-Aging Rejuvenation

Injectables are a popular choice for those looking to address wrinkles, fine lines, loss of volume, and asymmetry that often appear with aging. With injectables, you can achieve a refreshed and rejuvenated look without the downtime and cost associated with surgery.

At Toronto Plastic Surgery, we believe that every patient is unique and deserves a personalized approach to their treatment. We start every consultation by listening to our patients’ concerns and objectives, as well as discussing any relevant lifestyle factors. Here are some of the options we may recommend for a comprehensive anti-aging program.

Botox and Dysport are commonly used to relax facial muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. We use Botox and Dysport to treat various areas and types of wrinkles, including:

  • Forehead lines: Horizontal lines that appear across the forehead.
  • Frown lines: Vertical lines that form between the eyebrows.
  • Crow’s feet: Wrinkles that develop at the outer corners of the eyes.
  • Bunny lines: Fine lines that appear on the nose when smiling or scrunching the nose.
  • Lip lines: Wrinkles that form around the mouth, commonly known as smoker’s lines.
  • Chin dimpling: Dimpling or puckering of the chin.
  • Neck bands: Vertical lines or bands that appear on the neck.

Dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are used to restore lost volume and enhance facial contours, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Skin boosters like Restylane and Redensity are also used to improve skin texture and hydration.

Redensity is a line of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers that is designed to help reduce the signs of aging, including wrinkles, fine lines, and volume loss. Redensity I is specifically formulated for the delicate skin around the eyes, as well as the neck and décolletage areas. Redensity II is designed to be used on the face, neck, and hands to improve skin quality, hydration, and elasticity, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sculptra is used to rejuvenate and restore volume to the face. Sculptra can also be used to address concerns such as dimpling and hip dip, loose or sagging skin, and for body contouring and enhancement. Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that stimulates the body’s own collagen production. When injected, Sculptra works gradually over time to add volume, fill in wrinkles and fine lines, and improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.

These treatments can be customized to target specific areas of concern, and results can last for several months to over a year. Results from Sculptra treatment typically last up to two years.

Combination Treatments

We often combine injectables with various other non-surgical treatments for optimal results, depending on your goals and concerns. Here are some common combinations:

Botox or Dysport with dermal fillers

This combination can help address both dynamic and static wrinkles, as Botox/Dysport can relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, while fillers can add volume and smooth out static wrinkles.

Dermal fillers with skin boosters

Using dermal fillers to restore volume and structure to the face can be complemented with skin boosters to improve skin texture, tone, and hydration.

Injectables with laser treatments

Laser and light treatments like IPL/BBL or HALO laser can improve skin texture, pigmentation, and overall radiance. Combining these treatments with injectables can provide a comprehensive anti-aging solution.

Regular facials with injectables

Regular facials like our BelaMD Advanced HydraFacial, Biologique Recherché Luxe Facials, or chemical peels can help keep the skin healthy and rejuvenated, while injectables can address specific concerns like wrinkles, volume loss, or asymmetry.
